Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy that focuses on the present and is problem-solving oriented. Clients learn skills involve with identifying distorted thinking, modifying beliefs, relating to others in different ways, and changing behaviors.

My Approach
My mission is to promote mental health services through prevention, education, and interventions. I have in my professional career integrated humor with a client-centered psychotherapy approach. I'm trained in using various evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety (SS) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
As a trained trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults within several demographics, including BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. I also work with couples facing relationship and sexual issues.
